Shae’s First Run Down Balcony Falls - Monday May 31, 2021

We finally had our first outing as a family for 2021 and man was it a great one! Kiddo has been out on a canoe in the past but never been able to paddle with me. This time we went over a few strokes and we hit the water as a family. Kiddo and I in my Pocket Canyon and Momma on her sit on top! We ran Balcony Falls here in Virginia, this run has several Class II and up to Class III rapids. Take a little trip with us as we paddle this beautiful stretch of the James River, we put in on the Maury River and hit the confluence to start the day off right!
