The former “record” of number of complications was set at 36 and Vacheron Constantin has now raised the bar to an incredible 57!!! It took 8 years for the Atelier Cabinotiers of the brand, a department dedicated to bespoke watches, to develop this unique timepiece after a savvy collector placed this very special order. The project evolved during this period of time and presented some real challenges that were each time tackled with a fresh and new approach to the development of these complications, which naturally have to all function together.
