Qasem Soleimani funeral - Huge crowds as daughter threatens US

Tens of thousands of mourners gathered in the streets of Tehran for funeral of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani Speaking at the funeral, Soleimani’s daughter Zeinab Soleimani warned her father’s death would bring a dark day for the United States: “The families of American soldiers in West Asia, who have witnessed America’s cruel wars in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Yemen and Palestine, will be spending their days waiting for the (news of the) death of their children.“ Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led prayers at the funerals of the victims of the US drone strike in Iraq. Tehran has promised to avenge the killing. US President Donald Trump on Sunday doubled down on his threat to target 52 Iranian sites, also warning that he may hit Iraq with new sanctions. Trump made the comments on Air Force One after Iranian officials reportedly placed an $80 million bounty on the president’s head.
