Dawesome Love - HydraTek Presets

I had the opportunity to follow closely the beta-test phase of Dawesome’s first effect called Love, so the released version comes with some presets designed by me. Love is what I like to call a ’soundscape designer’, thanks to its granular engine combined with tailored ambient effects like Shimmer and Cloud reverb modules. Its true power for me comes from the real-time manipulation of its parameters since this effect lends itself to exploring new sonic directions by tweaking, tweaking... That’s why I recorded some unedited sessions where I had fun playing with Love, starting from some of my presets as starting points and getting into uncharted territories over time. The sources used in these examples are Bass, Guitar, Synth Lead, and a Piano loop. Take a listen at how these mutate over time in unexpected sonic realms. The Swarm granular mode for example is the go-to for instant ambient soundbeds, while Robot opens the doors for techy, metallic effects.
