Streets of Kamurocho (PC) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Sega’s 2020 retro beat ’em up for PC, Streets of Kamurocho. This week kicked off Sega’s 60th Anniversary celebration, and they’ve got some cool stuff lined up. In addition to the expected slew of deep discounts on their Steam storefront, they’re also giving away a few titles that were made specifically for the occasion. Streets of Kamurocho is one such game. It’s based on Streets of Rage II, but all of the characters, art, and music have been redone to reflect the Yakuza universe. It only covers the first level of SoR2 (looping with a higher difficulty level each time you finish it, and there’s no ending), but this is a really neat little production, especially for something that’s a promotional give away! You can play as Kazama Kiryu or Goro Majima from the start, and after a bit of play, you unlock a playable version of Ichiban Kasuga from Ryu ga Gokuto Online and the upcoming Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon.
