Kill the Bill protesters flood in Manchester over Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill
Protesters have gathered in Manchester city centre this afternoon as part of a ’Kill the Bill’ demonstration.
Campaigners have turned out in St Peter’s Square for the protest today (Saturday).
A range of different groups have joined to protest against the new Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, which proposes to give police in England and Wales more power to impose conditions on non-violent protests.
Many of the campaigners have placards and banners.
