Feminine Fashions (1922)

A “Hockley“ evening gown is modelled. The camera pans up from the feet to reveal the whole dress after the intertitle: “Simplicity is the keynote of this dainty ’Hockley’ champagne georgette evening gown“. The woman modelling the dress walks around the drawing room set to show off the petalled skirt. Another evening gown is presented to the camera. The model takes off her tasselled cape to reveal the dress to her friend who admires her outfit. The second model “does a twirl“. There is a C/U of the waist of the dress to show a floral detail. The friend stands up to show off her frock which is embroidered with steel beads. There is a C/U of a heavily beaded waistband. Lovely early 1920s fashions. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
