Guitar Factory (1965)

Romford, Essex. Various shots of guitars being made at a factory in Romford. Good C/Us of craftsmen at work and of the guitars taking shape. Narrator says that guitar making is enjoying a boom in Britain because of the “Beat Groups“. The guitars are electric guitars and a dozen different craftsmen will work on each one - “all this to make a bedlam of adolescent noise“ says the narrator. He makes a gag about how expensive the guitars are, leaving musicians with no money to have a haircut.
