Bob Seger - Smokin’ OP’s (1972) [Complete CD]

One Of Our Deleted Albums Series Bob Seger released three albums between 1972-1974 which are relatively unknown and hard to find, which is surprising given Bob Seger’s very successful career later in the 1970’s. Smokin’ O.P.’s is one of those three albums. The other two are Back In 72 and Seven. Smokin’ O.P.’s was originally released in 1972 and, although it had some modest commercial success, it was/is nowhere near as well known as Bob Seger’s post 1974 albums with the Silver Bullet Band. Despite Bob Seger’s very successful career with the Silver Bullet Band after 1974, Smokin’ O.P.’s remained a relatively unknown album and became increasingly difficult to find. It was deleted from the Capitol Records catalogue by the 1980’s and was later re-released on CD by , Palladium Records in 1995 before being deleted again a few years later. This audio was taken from the re-release CD on Palladium Records. I’ll upload the 1970’s vinyl LP audio in future. As far as I am aware, Smokin’s O.P.’s is currently unavailable on CD or vinyl except as second hand copies of the original 1970’s and re-released 1995 CD. Track list: 1. Bo Diddley 0:00 2.
