Coronavirus: Canadian prime minister draws criticism for pace of vaccine rollout

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing more scrutiny over the country’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout. On Sunday, he appeared on a U.S. political talk show where he once again insisted that millions of Canadians would have the opportunity to be inoculated. On Friday, Health Canada approved the AstraZeneca-Oxford University COVID-19 vaccine, which will boost capacity to immunize more people. But, that’s little relief to people in parts of the country facing rising case numbers. Global News’ Sean O’Shea reports.
