Ukraine: Police and protesters break ex-Aidar members’ blockade of Kiev boat park

Several people, including former members of Ukraine’s Aidar Battalion, were detained during a protest against the alleged illegal blockade of a municipal yacht park and boat-port by the privately-run ’SWAT’ security company in Kiev, Saturday. Tensions ran high as local citizens tried to remove barricades and checkpoints set up by the firm at the entrance of the park.
