Crewe & Manchester (04-08-2014)

We are back in the North West for this trip, and after a pause at Stoke On Trent, to see 66741 pass through light loco, we then stop at Crewe and see 37423, 37606 & 37611 working light loco to Derby before seeing a Class 68 test trip passing Acton Bridge in the hands of 68006, 47841 & 68007. We then focus on the route from Crewe to Manchester, stopping off at several intermediate stations on the route via Wilmslow and Styal. At Heald Green and East Didsbury we see First Transpennine Express’ new Class 35
