Bike The Whites 14 | 2 Mile Fatbike Descent

This was a pretty special day up in the mountains. It was ridiculously cold, but the scenery and the trail conditions were unreal. Miles of packed styrofoam like hiking trails and snowcovered trees made it a ride I won’t forget for a long time. The weather was so cold our Gopros froze and wouldn’t record after a couple hours into the ride. I guess we will just have to go back to show the other stuff we found, because it was awesome. This was Ryan’s first real fatbike ride in the mountains, his hands froze and we had a scary moment of trying to get the feeling back into his fingers. I carry handwarmers and extra gloves on these rides for that very reason. It just goes to show you can never be over prepared for riding the mountains in the winter because it doesn’t take much to cause a situation to turn serious, so always be prepared!
