A special Christmas card for 2023! As Shining tradition goes, we have another Xmas song this year. This time it’s a cover of The Pogues’ Fairytale Of New York. Go and watch the full thing on our Patreon. I wanted the video to show the extreme contrasts we’re living in today, where actual Hell is just a short plane ride away. I see videos of 9 year old kids being shot and bombed, and then I go home and hug my own son a little longer. I go to a music festival with my girlfriend, and I see another festival turned into a bloodbath. Snow flakes fall from the sky in Norway, and ashes darken the sky in Gaza. My friends and I fall down naked in the snow in Norway, while bodies fall down in the rubble in the Middle East. Happy Christmas to you all!
