I think folklore and evermore are particularly fitting for nostalgic ships... this was instantly one of my favorite songs off evermore and I just think it’s perfect for the poster kids of bittersweet young love, ryan and marissa, who still hold such a special place in my heart. this flowed out of me in basically one sitting and I wanted to leave it very simple (even simpler than usual for me!) to let the lyrics and clips speak for themselves. I did actually start with a structure to focus on each season but I ended up just including my favorite moments in spots that spoke to me, but I think jumping around in time kind of fits with the theme of reminiscing on lost love and wondering what you could have done differently. personally gonna sue myse
