Carson Robinson And His Pioneers (1933)

Pathe Studio? Full title reads: “Now Pathe Pictorial presents another famous Variety & Radio ’turn’ Carson Robinson and his Pioneers.“ Introductory intertitle reads: “The lays of these Troubadours of the Prairie have been sung and broadcast wherever the Anglo-Saxon races live. Here they are in a typical number.“ Nice number performed by one female singer and her three male companions. Two play banjos and the third a guitar. They all wear cowboy hats and it is a Country and Western style song about Kentucky. They are shot as if sitting in the dark beside a campfire. Unfortunately cuts out before the end of the song - check against original film. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
