This video from the 1949 Chopin competition shows Halina Czerny-Stefanska and Bella Davidovich being awarded their joint first prize. We then see Czerny-Stefanska playing Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu on the famous steps. Other historical figures appear in the video.
