Mother water buffalo tries to save her newborn baby from drowning

Heartbreaking clip of baby water buffalo born in a water hole and dying upon birth. Now for all the people watching this saying I’m a bad person for not trying to save this was more distraught at the time than you are watching this, believe me. We all asked our guide if we could do anything to help and he wouldn’t let us, he told us this was the way of the jungle; survival of the fittest. Very difficult to watch this I know. Although the mother could do nothing to save the baby, it’s an incredible scene when the mother is so spent she can’t get up and another buffalo comes back and helps her up and saves her life.
