Вспышка на солнце (6/21/2015)

Region 2371 was responsible for a pair of M-Flares during the early hours of June 21, 2015. The first, an M2.0 at 01:42 UTC, was quickly followed up by an M2.6 peak at 02:34 UTC. The dual event was responsible for a full halo coronal mass ejection (CME) that became visible soon after in coronagraph imagery. An impact to our geomagnetic field is likely during the next 48-72 hours. Geomagnetic storming will be possible. Sky watchers should be alert for visible aurora at high latitudes.
