Full title reads: “All the Fun of the Fair. Mitcham Fair opened with the historic key as in Elizabethan days - and long may it continue.“ Mitcham, Greater London. Group of men stand in front of large crowd. One of them is holding a large symbolic key with which to open the fair. In the background is a fairground ride. The fair is declared open and the crowd cheer. High angle shot of the fair ground rides in full swing. Good shots of the fair. There are swinging boats, carousels / merry-go-rounds, etc. The key is carried through the crowd. Good shots of the crowds at the fair. Shots of a swinging chair ride. Closer shots of the people as they are lifted up on the chairs and swung round. Good shots of swing boat ride, called Big Lizzie. Small children’s merry-go-round.
