Girls in camp. Location of events unknown. Female munition workers walk through a gate into a field with their suitcases. Various shots as they put a tent up. M/S of their legs sticking out underneath. M/S as they wash in bowls and clean their teeth. One girl pours the tea. M/S as the girls rush up to the postman to receive their mail. Various shots as they fold the bed linen. M/S as they powder their noses. Three girls carry buckets of water between them. Various shots as they wash stockings etc. in bowls and peg them on the line. They read the newspaper then play leapfrog and skip. Various shots as they peel vegetables and potatoes. They have a shower by having buckets of water poured over them in their bathing costumes, one girl sits in a small tin bath.
