New Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 gameplay! With #marvelsspiderman2 launching in just a few weeks, we were lucky enough to be some of the first people in the world to get to play the game at a special event in London. We got to go hands-on with both Spider-Men - Peter Parker and his newfound symbiote powers, and Miles Morales who is still fairly new into his tenure as Spider-Man and still finding his feet, but with explosive bio-electric venom powers of his own too. We webbed our way through new areas of NYC, paid a visit to the home of Curt Connors, tried out some of the new mini-challenges dotted around New York, tried our hand at some stealth sections and went up against not only the forces of Kraven the Hunter, but the fearsome Lizard himself. After playing we also talked with senior narrative director Jon Paquette, learning about how Insomniac went about building on the world and characters they’ve created for the highly anticipated sequel.
