Embedded: John Butcher & Jonathan Coleclough

The sound of blow torch heated lead and glass with gutsy sonic dexterity of extended saxophone technique. Saturday 2nd February 2013 saw the first in our series of intimate Embedded concerts, featuring improvising saxophonist John Butcher and composer, Jonathan Coleclough. The collaboration was extraordinary, both visually and sonically. An unusual pairing of players, the duo were being brought together for the first time ever, expressly for the “Embedded” season.
