Welsh pibgorn - Beth yw’r Haf i mi?

The reed is a composite single reed, brass body with a slip of clarinet reed for the tongue. Great sound but goes flat even as you’re playing as the reed absorbs water. Of course I should tune the pibgorn after playing for 10 minutes or so & leave the reed like that. Next time you play you start off out of tune but the reed comes in to tune as you play - but who wants to play for 10 minutes before the instrument is ready to play properly?
