Saint-Senier-de-Beuvron, a small village in north-western France, is resisting plans by Elon Musk’s company SpaceX to build infrastructure for its hyper-speed internet satellites, as seen on Wednesday. “The project in the municipality of Saint-Senier would consist in the creation of a ground station composed of nine domes and which aims to establish a connection with satellites in low orbit,“ said Saint-Senier-de-Beuvron Councillor Noemi Brault. “We refused this project because there was a lack of information about its impact on human health, but also animal health, since we are in a very rural area with many farmers around us.“
