Knife Making Throwing knife with Forge Scale Finish And Metal Etch logo

Disclaimer... I am not a professional. I am learning Bladesmithing as I make these videos. In this video I decided to do an experiment with the finish. I etched the center deep enough so after the heat treat, the forge scale would stay while the boarder sanded smooth. Then I used JAX Nickel and Steel Blackener. I really like the way the scale looks on side A. Let me know it the comments which side You like better. Thanks for watching! Please Like and Subscribe if you like this video. I did temper the blade at 400 degrees for 1 hour twice. Two cycles. I used a Cricut Cutter to do my logo. The Red tape Is automotive pin striping for cars. I find it sticks way better than electrical tape. I clean the metal with rubbing alcohol to clear all debris before applying tape to ensure a good boarder. If you have any questions about what I did, Please leave a comment and I will get try to answer the best I can. Thanks again for watching.
