New Beginnings

Specifically the different seasons that come and go in our lives and how there always seems to be new chapters or new beginnings in one way or another. A new beginning might be moving to a new city, starting a new job, graduating school, a new relationship, offering forgiveness, finding a renewed hope for something or someone, developing faith, leaving old ways and discovering new, finding your ground after losing a loved one, becoming a parent or grandparent… there are numerous examples of new beginnings. As I’ve reflected on my own experiences and my personal new beginnings, I’ve been feeling so much gratitude for my current season in life. My world feels new and exciting. I’m especially grateful for a new beginning that started five years ago when I married my sweet Jenna. What an unexpected and beautiful new chapter in my life. Jenna has truly made my life blossom. It is because of this feeling of gratitude that I was moved to write a song called “New Beginnings”. I also decided I wanted to create a music video that would compliment the meaning of the song. For years, I have heard about how beautiful the almond blossoms are when they are in bloom. So I decided to film this video in Jenna’s hometown in Oakdale, California during the few weeks the blossoms were in their full glory. For me, it represents a rebirth or renewal, a new season in life. It represents New Beginnings. I hope you enjoy this music video and that you will feel inspired to create beautiful New Beginnings in your own lives.
