Fierce fighting as Ukrainian & Russian troops battle in no-man’s land for Robotyne village

As Russian troops continue their offensive in the Avdiivka area, the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday (Feb. 29) released a new video showing intense clashes in Robotyne, located in the Zaporizhzhia Region. According to a statement by the ministry, “The assault troops of the Southern Military District have entrenched themselves in one of the key buildings in Robotyne. The motorized infantry guards of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District are conducting active assault operations in the area.“ Ukraine has also reportedly downed another Russian fighter jet - the third in just three days. The Air Force of Ukraine’s Armed Forces claimed today that an Su-34 fighter-bomber was struck in the “eastern direction“ of the front.
