The polyrhythmic music that evolves out of this confluence is a florid polyphony. Truffaz says, “My spirit inspires me to compose and play jazz.“ Introduced into the world of music by his saxophone-playing dad, Truffaz started performing in his father’s band at the age of ten. Greatly inspired by Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue, he set out to study music at the esteemed Geneva Conservatoire.
