World’s Fastest Ford F650 Truck Has Three Jet Engine And Bonus Fireworks! (2022)

Jet trucks are the great show vehicles of drag racing, and some drivers like to add a little bit extra to their exhibitions of flames and smoke. This is the Ford F650 known as ’The Homewrecker’ driven by Jerry McCart. And it also has a fun extra - fireworks! There’s not much of the real truck left, this is about as far as you can get from something you see on a show like Street Outlaws! This is a vehicle purpose built for demonstrations at drag races, air shows and more. While the jet trucks are about the show, they are still race vehicles with risks, as Jerry elaborates on. This interview was done last December, before the sad passing of Chris Darnell in the Shockwave jet truck crash. They might not be as fast as an NHRA Top Fuel Dragster or Funny Car like you see John Force drive, but Jet Trucks will always have their place in drag racing history.
