NATHAN is a palindrome in spirit (Read description for clarification)

So, many of you pointed out that in the first two minutes, I claim that “this video only involves the spelling of words, and has nothing to do with the phonetics of a word.“, and then contradict that by saying “Let’s analyze how NATHAN is pronounced.“ In retrospect, I can see how that is very confusing. I should’ve worded this in a more mathematically rigorous way. What I meant was, we’re just looking at a sequence of discrete elements, some of which have the same value, and some of which have different values. What I wanted to do in this video was, figure out what permutations of that original sequence can we arrive at by only applying reversals to substrings of that sequence. For sequences that have a structure like “NATHAN“, (where the 1st and 6th elements have an equal value, and so do the 2nd and 5th elements), which reversals will lead the sequence to appear identical?
