The track demonstrates their impressive execution of weaving in and out production elements and arrangements. ‘17 Years’ is a fun nod to the underground, heavy in its delays and reverbs while utilizing the same weaving in and out effect from ‘It’s Bananas’ on its drum arrangements. The use of automation effects on the song’s vocal sample gives the song a powerful breakdown ideal for late-night raves in dark, pulsating rooms.
