In this video, I will show you how I did waterproofing with bitumen strips and concreting the floor with a mixture of gravel, cement, polypropylene fibers, and water. With this combination, I achieved micro-reinforced concrete, the fibers are uniformly distributed and randomly oriented in the concrete and actually form a discontinuous reinforcement. Fibers increase the tensile strength of concrete and prevent the formation of microcracks, which greatly increase the concrete’s resistance to wear, thus giving concrete durability and quality. The bitumen tape I use in the video is used in above-ground and underground systems waterproofing against seepage and water under pressure.
