Brian Molko ’s band releases “Placebo Live“, a box set that collects performances from throughout his career captured in Mexico, Spain and London. To mark 25 years of their career, the set also includes the first live album the band has ever released: #CollapseIntoNever: Placebo Live In Europe 2023 . Placebo Live also marks the first time the band’s live performances will be available on vinyl. Inside the box set there will be three special live sets entitled Collapse Into Never, This Is What You Wanted and Live From The White Room in vinyl, Blu-Ray and CD format. Each was recorded over the past year and a half while the band toured the world in support of their new album #NeverLetMeGo, playing to over 1.5 million fans. Collapse Into Never, recorded live at the Low Festival in Spain, This Is What You Wanted was recorded in Mexico City and the extended set is included on the Blu-Ray. Live From The White Room, recorded at Studio 1 Twickenham Studios, includes seven tracks from the band’s acclaimed latest album Never Let Me Go and is presented on a gatefold CD softpak. In 2023, one of the greatest live bands of the last 25 years finally gets the live album release it deserves. Placebo with Placebo Live reiterates why their show continues to be the essential experience it has always been.
