Cora - Same (1980’s Netherlands, Minimal Synth/Wave/Home-Taping) - Full Tape

Tracklist below | This is a tape by Cora Emens, a Dutch musician, performer and sexual educator. She is the ex-wife of cult figure, radio maker, hippie-esque youth magazine creator and fluxus artist Willem de Ridder. Cora is a pioneer as an erotic healer and sex-coach in The Netherlands and was a.o. involved in the first erotic sex-line services in Holland. Also she has made many radio and TV-show appearances. This tape, dating from the 80’s, displays nicely refined minimal synth and home-taping sounds. Among the musicians for this recording are Willem de Ridder, John Zandijk, Alvin Curran (Musica Elettronica Viva), Enno Velthuis, Andre de Vries and Arnold Erkendiep. A really nice tape from The Netherlands reminding me a bit of the minimal synth music of Tara Cross at times. The tape is unindexed and was posted first on No Longer Forgotten Music. | Tracklist: A-Side - 00:00 01. Conversation 02. Come On 03. Telephone 04. Lonely Tune 05. Running 06. All Alone 07.
