M/S of soldiers parading and drilling up and down, they go from lying to standing position then march. Various shots of them forming different patterns as they drill. Intertitle - ’The “Battle“ of Clonmel provides ample scope for soldiers to play at Gladiators of former days!’ M/S as they charge across the ground wearing capes and carrying shields and swords. M/S of a castle, troops run about and part of the wall is demolished. Various shots of the battle as they fight each other man to man. Two men sword fight on a wall, one wins and the others cheer.
