Rocket Road Trip - Vandenberg Air Force Base - Delta II Launch

Back from my trip, here’s the story. I travelled 4 Hours south to Vandenberg Air Force Base to take part in a NASA Social event covering the launch of the SMAP Earth observation satellite. We got a tour of the Western Range Operational Control Center (WROCC) and the Space and Missile Heritage Museum. Then We returned next day hoping to see the launch of a rocket.
