An explore of Roland MC-808 Editor on PC

So, I found out that the MC-808 needs an editor program to alter the tones within a patch. Here is the beginnings of my exploration of what it is able to do. Remember.... I am a beginner at this MC-808 thing, and this is also the first time I’ve used the editor to actually edit and change the parameters of a voice patch ! So, if you know a better / easier way, please let me know ! Have you used the editor? If so, please share what you do / have done with it. 00:00 Introduction and switching on, connecting via MIDI interface 01:00 What settings need to be changed on the MC-808? 02:00 Soft Through and Remote Kbd Sw 02:40 Run the MC-808 editor program 03:30 how to enlarge the view to see a larger program window 04:35 set up MIDI device 05:15 the menu 05:35 the editor manual 06:35 click on the Read button 07:20 the sliders in the program move as the sliders on the MC-808 move ! 08:20 selecting parts - either on the MC-808 or in the program 09:00 begin discussing and comparing the editor screen with the MC-808 10:00 how is the editor helpful to me? 11:45 ...
