Frank Pepper Adams Basile, Baritone Sax, Night In Tunisia (Gillespie All-Stars 2007)

Frank Basile, the intrepid Pepper Adams-inspired Baritone Saxophonist, makes a special featured guest appearance on the Pepper Adams Jazz Channel. Pepper Adams originally recorded “Night In Tunisia“ (Dizzy Gillespie’s best-known composition) on Lee Morgan’s album, “The Cooker,“ in 1957. Frank Basile plays a solo on “Night In Tunisia“ with the Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band a half century (50 years) after this recording (2007).
