How I Grew Potatoes And Tomatoes On The Same Plant

I thought it would be fun to graft a tomato plant onto a potato plant to create one plant that produces potatoes underneath the soil and tomatoes on the top. I grew this over Spring and Summer, so now I’ve put together a start to finish gardening video to share the whole process! In this video we’ll cover how to grow tomatoes from seed, how to start potato plants, as well as the full process of how to graft plants together using the cleft graft and whip and tongue graft techniques. I’ll share lessons along the way of this fun experiment so you can learn with me and have a go yourself at growing and creating one of these Frankenstein or frankenplants.
