Celebrating the 15 Year Anniversary of Kamal Engels Whale Meditation album. Whale Meditation is the third and last part of the Whale Song Trilogy that began with Reiki Whale Song in 2001 and was followed with Reiki Whale Dreaming in 2005. “What makes the singing of the whales so intriguing and inspiring to me is a deep sense that these creatures are in total harmony and peace with the world. This resonates within myself as a deep longing for that harmony and inner peace. Every moment I have a choice to be at war or at peace with “what is,” and I see the calling of the whales as a call to make peace with the present moment and live from there. Whale Biologist and founder of Ocean Alliance, Dr. Roger Payne collaborated with Kamal to create three unique albums using one of the earliest authentic recordings of humpback whale songs made by engineer Frank Watlington in 1961.
