Brian Eno and John Hassell

This video was created in the late 1980s before all the computers. I was a young filmmaker inspired by this great music and decided to make an experimental short film with it. The footage was shot in Yosemite using a low-cost VHS camcorder, I then cut the video using two VCRs running through an old effects machine live and in one pass. 20 years later in 2009, I was lucky to attend a concert by John Hassel at the Royce Hall at UCLA. so that’s when I decided to dig the old VHS tape from 20 years ago and share it with you here.
