’Bones’ is one of the most personal songs I’ve released so far. I have always wanted to record in a stripped way like this. The room was so incredibly cold that you can see smoke come out of my mouth while singing, ha! It’s a song about loss, knowing you’ve reached the finish line and that there is no way back.
