The Palestine Telecommunication Company claims communications and internet services have been completely cut off in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military confirmed airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp and said it targeted a “central Hamas stronghold”. Israel’s Defense Minister said the IDF is making “significant” achievements during the ground operation in Gaza, but is also “paying a heavy price”. Iran’s mission to the UN has warned that allied militias like the Houthi rebels in Yemen could expand their operations against Israel. Egypt has stationed tanks and armored vehicles near the Rafah border crossing into Gaza.
