Opening Basics #19: Bishop’s opening

The Bishop’s opening (2. Bc4) is one of the older chess openings, with some interesting gambit possibilities. While not so popular at the top levels any more, it provides interesting play and may be useful as a surprise weapon. The gambit lines that I look at are the Boden-Kieseritzky gambit, the Urusov gambit, and the Calabrese counter gambit.
