Roller Skater (1954)

Camberley, Surrey. M/S man on roller skates, wearing shorts and vest, leaving his modern council house. C/U man kissing his wife goodbye - she notes the time on her watch. M/S man skating out of garden. M/S man waving goodbye to wife and kids as he skates along the pavement. Various shots of man skating around housing estate. M/S postman coming out of gate. C/U postman shaking his head. M/S roller skater arrives at main road and looks both ways before crossing. Various shots man skating down residential and shopping streets. M/S policeman on point duty - skater in background halts at the corner. C/U policeman waving skater on. M/S skater turning round corner. M/S skater arriving at work - waves to another chap who has just arrived on motor cycle. M/S skater enters building and clocks on. C/U skater observing time on clock as he places time card in stamping machine. C/U clock face reading ten to eight. He replaces card in rack and skates out of picture. Man is Arthur Baker, he is tra
