Konstantin Emelyanov became a discovery at the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition 2019. As the winner of third prize, he received the title “Artist of Radio Russia“ and the Audience Award from the readers of Musical Life magazine. He has been a Yamaha Artist since 2019. During his studies at the Moscow Music Conservatory, Konstantin won prizes at prestigious international competitions, including the Inter-national Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, the piano competitions in Verona (Italy) and Suzhou (China), as well as the Viotti Piano Competition (first prize and audience prize). In 2018, Konstantin won first prize at the third Russian Music Competition. Konstantin Emelyanov completed his studies at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (with Professor Sergei Dorensky and his assistants, Professors Andrei Pisarev, Pavel Nersesyan and Nikolai Lugansky). He also studied at the Rachmaninov Academy in Catania (Italy) with Professor Epifanio Comis in the 2017/2018 season. Since 2022 he has been attending the “Senior Course“ of the international piano academy “Incontri col Maestro“ in Imola (Italy), with Professor Boris Petrushansky. Konstantin has performed with many symphony orchestras and has worked with artists such as Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Vladimir Spivakov, Al¬exander Rudin, Felix Korobov, Mark Kadin, Mark Gorenstein, Zaurbek Gugkaev, Dmitris Botinis, Dmitry Liss and many others. The International Piano Forum (IPF) – a summit of internationally acclaimed pianists and a podium for outstanding young artists from all over the world to showcase their instrumental mastery. The International Piano Forum is the initiator of the worldwide piano competition - International German Piano Award (IGPA), Internationaler Deutscher Pianistenpreis - which is donated yearly. The prize money amounts to a total of € 20,000 - The Arnold Freymuth Special Prize € 5,000 - and the Audience Award € 3,000 -. This International Piano Competition has the objective to find and promote outstanding pianists. Yet, alone being nominated for this piano competition is an honor to extraordinary talent. The Forum supports its nominees and prize winners with concerts at famous national and international concert halls and create contacts to conductors as well as orchestras. The association also supports the production of CDs, websites, and Artist Management - IPF-Masters. The Audience-Award 2013 went to Thomas Wypior, 2014 to Albertina Eunju Song, 2015 to Andrejs Osokins, 2017 to Eric Lu, 2018 to Tomoki Sakata, 2019 to Luka Okros, 2021 to JeungBeum Sohn, 2022 to Konstantin Emelyanov and 2023 to Xuanyi Mao.
