Magnolia - music inspired by the works of Mike Oldfield

Magnolia was composed and performed by Swedish group Offentlig Sektor. It is a tribute to Mike Oldfield and his music which has always been one of our greatest musical inspirations. Our aim has not been to copy his music, or to sound exactly like him. This is us getting a lot of musical stuff out of our system, and the result probably resembles some of Oldfields works to a great extent. All instruments played by Magnus Hedegård and Johan Ekfeldt except bassoon: Eva Pettersson Veltman, recorder: Lena Lindström, flute: Ragna Rydberg and vocals: Åsa Fagerdahl and Tina Lagerström.
