Yamaha R1 2004 - Scorpion Exhaust - No Flash - 63500kms/39457mi

Today we had this 2004 Yamaha YZF-R1 with 63500km/39457mi on the Dyno for a test/diagnose run. If you turn on the sound and listen carefully, you can hear that the bike’s clutch is slipping a little bit. Although the fueling is still standard, and the bike has some Scorpion silencers fitted, the air-fuel mixture is not too bad. It has done 63500kms/39457mi, but still has 162 DIN PS on the rear wheel! This bike wil definitely benefit from a tuneup. Still tough, great result for a bike that’s 16 years young and with this kind of mileage. Soon some special bikes will make it to my shop.
