Golden Hind (1964)

Brixham, Devon. Various shots of a replica of the Elizabethan ship, the Golden Hind, in the harbour. A man on board in costume trims his beard; a green parrot sits in a cage. Commentator tells us the ship was built for a television series. Several shots of people boarding the ship and being shown items of interest by Elizabethan costumed guides. One of the men in costume climbs to the crows nest and takes in the view. Note: on file are notes on the ship and the guides seen. The TV programme the ship was built for was ’Sir Francis Drake’.
